Kitchen sinks clog mostly because of grease. Hot oil cools inside the pipe, sticks to the walls and traps food waste, coffee grounds and rice until the pipe is completely blocked.
How we clean it
We take apart and wash the trap. If the blockage is deeper, we clean the wall pipe with an electro-mechanical cable and wash heavy grease out with high-pressure water jetting, then reassemble the trap with new seals and check for leaks. For cafés and restaurants we also clean grease traps and recommend preventive cleaning every 3–6 months.
